Insurance can be taken out on an annual basis or as an Event Licence (one-day licence).<\/p>\n<p>Day licenses will be available to purchase when you register, the cost of a day licence will be <strong>\u20ac20<\/strong> for non-CI members and <strong>\u20ac10<\/strong> for CI members who have a leisure licence.\u00a0 There are no Event Licences for youth riders.\u00a0 Youth riders must take out an annual licence from Cycling Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>In order to compete in Irish National Championships, you must have an \u201cIRL\u201d UCI code on your licence (be of Irish Nationality). You cannot partake in the National Championship events on an Event Licence.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #008000;\">What type of licence do I need?<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>A <strong>Non Competition <\/strong>licence is the most basic form of licence (these are deemed \u2018non-race\u2019 licences), if you purchase this, you will also need to purchase an Event Licence for every race you enter. This is the recommended licence type if you will only be doing a few races per year.<\/p>\n<p>A <strong>Limited Competition <\/strong>licence allows you to compete in all off-road events without having to purchase an Event Licence for every race you enter.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Where can I get a licence?<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>You can buy an annual licence on the Cycling Ireland website <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cyclingireland.ie\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Alternatively, when you register you can buy an Event licence (one-day licence)<\/p>\n<p>Award of licences to riders of other nationalities \u2013 it is important to note that the issuing of the licence is completely independent of the applicant\u2019s nationality and the nationality of his or her team or club.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Race Licences: In order to take part in any off-road racing riders must have insurance from our governing body Cycling Ireland.
