Course Description: (required)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Start will be on a gravel track heading uphill with the leadmines chimney on the horizon. At the top of the hill you head into the trees for some rooty single track. Twisty, berms, jumps, rocks on the descent. Out onto wide fire road before heading into a technical climb which is wide enough for passing. Lung buster. Back into the trees for some more single track. Lots of it with tight turns and narrow gaps between the trees. More climbing and then a technical downhill. Cross the lane and into the trees again. Lots and lots of single track. A challenge to maintain speed and few places to take a drink. Out onto the gravel path for a sprint finish to the line.

Camping:<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is no camping on site. We ask you to (where possible) leave your campervans at home for this round. The road access is narrow, and we want to minimise the impact on the local community.<\/p>\n

Under 6 race<\/strong>
\nThe Under 6s race is just for fun. It is an introduction to off-road racing. Parents can run alongside. It is all about the achievement of starting and finishing. If your child can complete the course with ease and is ready for the next challenge please have them try the Under 8s race instead. There is no lower age limit on the Under 8s race.<\/p>\n

NO PRACTICE IS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE WHEN ANY RACING IS IN PROGRESS
\nRiders must have their race numbers on their bikes before they go out to practice.<\/strong>
\nThe venue will be open from 8:30 am on Sunday 19 May 2024.
\nNote: There is no practice allowed on any other day before the race.<\/p>\n

Location of registration desk and opening times:<\/strong>
\nSign on will take place at the race village. Signage will be in place to direct riders to the race village and sign on area.
\nNOTE: There are no registrations on the day – only race number collection.<\/strong>
\nThe registration desk opens at 9:00 am on Sunday 19 May 2024.
\nRiders must collect their race number at least 15 minutes before the start of their race.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Race numbers:<\/strong>
\nRace numbers will be supplied by the organiser which should be placed secured onto the handlebars in a way which makes it clear for timekeepers to read.
\nRiders must not cut, fold or mutilate race numbers.
\nRace numbers must be handed back at the completion of your race.<\/em><\/p>\n

Feed \/ Technical Assistance Zones (F\/TA)<\/strong>:
\nWe will have 2 feed \/ technical zones on site. Before the finish line, and on the lower fire road.<\/p>\n

Gridding:<\/strong>
\nGridding will be based on UCI points and the results from the series to date.<\/p>\n
