Course Description:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The course will be based mostly on that one used for the National Championships in 2023.\u00a0 The venue has a large field for parking, registration, toilets and first aid.\u00a0 The start line and finish line are also within the field.\u00a0 The Under 6s will have a short course along the field and in among the trees.\u00a0 The Under 8s, 10s and 12s will have progressively longer courses.\u00a0 Once riders leave the main field there is a wide climb up through the trees.\u00a0 There are sections of single track among the garlic plants.\u00a0 There is a drop off with a B’ line which feeds into sections of berms and a gap jump.<\/p>\n

Camping<\/strong>
\nCamping will be allowed Saturday night at Bellurgan Park.<\/p>\n

Under 6 race<\/strong>
\nThe Under 6s race is just for fun. It is an introduction to off-road racing. Parents can run alongside. It is all about the achievement of starting and finishing. If your child can complete the course with ease and is ready for the next challenge please have them try the Under 8s race instead. There is no lower age limit on the Under 8s race.<\/p>\n

NO PRACTICE IS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE WHEN ANY RACING IS IN PROGRESS
\nRiders must have their race numbers on their bikes before they go out to practice.<\/span>
\nThe venue will be open from 8:30 am on Sunday 7 July 2024.
\nNote: There is no practice allowed on any other day before the race.<\/p>\n

Location of registration desk and opening times:<\/strong>
\nSign on will take place at the race village. Signage will be in place to direct riders to the race village and sign on area.
\nNOTE: There are no registrations on the day – only race number collection.<\/strong>
\nThe registration desk opens at 9:00 am on Sunday 7 July 2024.
\nRiders must collect their race number at least 15 minutes before the start of their race.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Race numbers:<\/strong>
\nRace numbers will be supplied by the organiser which should be placed secured onto the handlebars in a way which makes it clear for timekeepers to read.
\nRiders must not cut, fold or mutilate race numbers.
\nRace numbers must be handed back at the completion of your race.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nGridding will be based on UCI points and the results from the series to date.<\/p>\n
